What is the Web Hosting servers and network /system status?
Last Updated 3 years ago

Hi there.

An email wass sent out about changes to Outgoing SMTP, plus an alert/notice in hosting CP and the Client renewals area about this possibility?

Here is a more detailed rundown for you.

Changes to SMTP Ports:

As of September 2019, any mail client sending via SMTP through a Green WebHost mail server should use port 587 instead of ports 25 or 465. Details on how to change this will vary on your mail client, but we've detailed some of these further down this article.

It is also advisable to use STARTTLS for your encryption method, (if that's not supported in your mail client use "None").
